[Flash Card Basic] Do I need to format a new SD/MicroSD card before use?

Generally, new SD and microSD cards come pre-formatted from the factory using a standard file system like FAT32 or exFAT by the SD Association's formatter. So, you can often use them directly in a PC without reformatting.
