Setup ne Patriot P310SSD as System Drive in Desktop

I just received a new P310SSD to replace an old drive in my desktop. I have no idea how to begin setting up this new drive. The drive I am replacing is the system drive with windows on it. I thought the drive would come with some instructions. Please give me some advice or point me in the right direction for instructions on setting up this new drive as a system drive for my HP pc. The motherboard has the right slot, so that is not a problem. Thanks.
